Dude. We're getting hammered. I don't know why we're suddenly a favorite of the spambots, but we've had something like 50 registrations in the last 24 hours, and most (all?) of them weren't human.
We're tinkering with the forum to combat the flood, so you might notice some changes... If you're a real, live person trying to sign up to join our awesome little community here, there's a possibility that the registration process might be troublesome until we work out the kinks. But we don't want to throw out the baby with the bath water! So, if you are a baby, and you feel that you have been unfairly thrown out with the bath water, please just email us.
Happy Buy Nothing Day! I come bearing website updates!
First of all, notice the multiple blog posts and the "read more..." links below each post. Those links will take you to the new Blog page, where you can read the full post and browse through the blog archive.
You can now ask Tauhid questions directly from the Epicsplosion home page...
I know nothing about naming convention. Why not 1.01? Or just 2.0? What constitutes an actual integer change? Who even cares? Not me. I make comics. Mr. Lundin is the code guy (is it safe for me to start calling him Andrew yet without people thinking I'm talking about that otherguy? It doesn't feel safe.)
It's announcement time again. You guys know the drill. While you've been waiting around for updates, Mr. Lundin and I have been coming up with funky ass shit like every single day. If you haven't noticed the kickass archive then maybe you noticed the sick new save/load feature. You know, the one that now has a status field and lets you know which page you've saved even as you read deeper into the story. But if that's not enough for you then scoot your little tochas to the edge of your computer chair because that's the only part you're going to need.
If you're not following my Twitter feed then you need to be. I don't really update this blog unless I have something significant to say about the state of the site. However, on the feed I try to update any and all updates to the story complete with links to the newest pages. You can also follow epicsplosion.com on Facebook because, let's face it, that thing's not going away.
That's all for now. See you in the Minutiasphere!!
Hey, guys! I want to draw your attention to the spankin' new archive. If it feels like I do that a lot, it's because Andrew Lundin won't stop doing more and more awesome things. I've asked him to, but I'm not very assertive. Anyway, the new archive is like the last archive only now it includes an INDEX.
