Happy Year!

Tuesday, 3 January, 2012 - 10:07am
Fuck just celebrating the new part. I'm wishing you a happy All of the Year! Even the part where it's gotten kind of long in the tooth and you sort of start to think of it as the next year even though there's still technically like a month or two left. Happy That Part too!

Just like the rest of you, I've made a slew of totally reasonable and achievable New Years resolutions that I am completely equipped to accomplish. I've done this (as I'm sure you have) because I am almost one hundred percent happy with the person that I am and see only a few minor aspects of my character that need even the slightest tweaking. I figure I should have them managed by mid February because (like yourselves) I am of notoriously iron resolve and hardly ever fail at anything, least of all self-improvement.

Resolution #1: Stop drinking so many soft drinks.
Done and done. Only fucking with the hard stuff now.

Resolution #2: Travel.
Already in the works. I've given you more than enough time to prepare for my coming.

Resolution #3: Do more commissions.
Sure no problem. Send me your not stupid ideas to draw and I'll crush this one out of the park.

Resolution #4: Get rich.
I'm giving myself until March on this one...

Resolution #5: Stop smoking.
YOU fucking stop smoking!

Resolution #6: Be more positive.
This is dumb.

Anyway, I hope everyone else is half as successful as I plan to be with their New Years grab for self-worth. But only half. That way I win.

;)

Spammitty Spaaaammm!!!

Wednesday, 24 August, 2011 - 10:00am
Dude. We're getting hammered. I don't know why we're suddenly a favorite of the spambots, but we've had something like 50 registrations in the last 24 hours, and most (all?) of them weren't human.

We're tinkering with the forum to combat the flood, so you might notice some changes... If you're a real, live person trying to sign up to join our awesome little community here, there's a possibility that the registration process might be troublesome until we work out the kinks. But we don't want to throw out the baby with the bath water! So, if you are a baby, and you feel that you have been unfairly thrown out with the bath water, please just email us.

Welcome MSPA readers

Saturday, 20 August, 2011 - 10:39am
If you've read the blog post below this one you probably understand why I haven't made this post sooner. But I did want to give a shout out to my boy Andrew for posting the link and welcome all the new readers to the site. Hope you guys stick around.

As I mentioned before it might be a tick before I can get back to updating regularly but it won't be too long. In the mean time you should really check out Andrew Lundin's pet project Epicsploitation. It's hard to explain exactly what going on over there so let's just call it an experiment in community driven, divergent story telling.

Huh. That was a concise and not at all murky description. Check it out.

Please forgive my absense

Friday, 12 August, 2011 - 3:24pm
Yesterday my mother passed away. I can not say it was completely unexpected but these things are impossible to prepare for. Immediately, I find myself extremely busy with funeral arrangements, gathering family and tying up her affairs and ,to put it frankly, drawing and comics are the farthest thing from my mind right now. I will return after an appropriate period so please be patient.

Thank you so much for reading my comics and I will see you all again soon.

Back in Seattle

Tuesday, 12 July, 2011 - 8:33am
I mean, back in "the saddle". What a strange typo...

It's good to finally be semi-settled after the first leg of the move. Unfortunately this move has two legs. It's bipedal and apparently walks erect. There is a very long and boring story surrounding this move, so just suffice it to say that I'll be moving again in the next two to three months. In the mena time though I do have my computer set up and am happily cranking out pages with an ear toward wrapping up the Tripp Roguestar story once and for all. I'd really like to have it done this year...
